Dave Haldane

There are two things I love in life... playing games and my family. I work three jobs; one to pay the bills, another as a video game designer at C117 Games, and, of course, here - at Another Dungeon. I own almost every console since the Atari 7800 and am proud of my extensive collection of games. I'm more of a single or coop player but I do dabble in multiplayer on the odd occasion. Tabletop wise I prefer strategic games like Five Tribes or Small World. If you want to have a game or just chat feel free to add me, PM me or email me.

Review: Age of War

Age of War is a simplistic dice game that takes minutes to learn but provides hours of entertainment. Combining dice rolling and set collection mechanics it’s simple enough for my 6 year old to enjoy (ignore the 14+ recommendation on the box) but complex enough to regularly play with adults as well. In Age of War Players assume the roles of competing daimyos (great lords) trying to conquer castles...[Read More]

If you like trick taking games

If you like trick taking card games, then look no further. I like trick taking card games, and frequently play bridge and Tichu. Gulveig is similar, but it take a new approach. Second, the hand starts with no ...[Read More]
