For those of us that are fans of retro gaming, you have a few options available to relive the nostalgia and goodness of bygone gaming eras. Dig out those original systems, use emulators *shudders* or invest in one of the modern systems capable of playing old game cartridges. However for those that prefer the later option a new system appropriately called the RetroFreak is coming to market that boasts the ability to play 11 different systems on the one console (beating out the RetroN 5 current impressive limit by 1).
The RetroFreak has a cartridge adapter with slots for Famicom, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy, Mega Drive and many more. The system will feature the a wide range of settings to allow you to tweak your gaming experience and support USB controllers and will also have the added bonus that it will allow you to download the games from the carts to the console.
RetroFreak is set for release in October this year and is priced at ¥20,000 (or ¥23,000 if you want the addtional PC Engine and Famicom controller adapter) and more information is available from the official site.
