Dark Souls meets Skyrim. Need I say more? I will anyways. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open world RPG based sometime in the 1200’s. It has an unique main story and various side quests that also keep your attention. The battling system is very close to that of Dark Souls, along with its inventory/item system. And the open world with side quests and random monsters make it feel a lot like Skyrim. This is a very rare game that actually makes the side quests enjoyable. The backgrounds and stories of the side quest keep you hooked throughout the entirety of the game. When I say “Never a dull moment”, it is quite literal. The game is rated M for good reason. There is harsh language, lots of bare bottomed women, crude humor every now and then, and of course the wonderful mutilation of human body parts along with those of creatures. You use swords/axes/and magic to kill your way through soldiers/bandits/and other mysterious creatures peaceful and dark. Overall great game for mature audiences, and great expansions that are worth a buy!
